オーティス・レディングの古い古いヒット曲『ドック・オブ・ザ・ベイ』これを『入り江にて』と読んでみると、オォいけるではないか。僕はすぐに油壷湾の入り口を思い出した。

切れ目が湾の入り口

　古い話で恐縮だが、英人スチュワーデスの方が殺された惨劇のあったところで、反対側に東大の海洋研究所がある。うまくすれば富士山がガーンと見えるので、半日ヨットを繋いで揺られて過ごすこともできる。季節は真夏は熱くてしょうがないから初夏か初秋がいい。

　しかしながら歌詞そのものは厳しく寂しい、冬の工業地帯の港湾風景が似合う。

　ッと考えていた途端、あのベース・ランニングが聞こえてくる。
